In the previous episode, we saw some more deaths of Jin-Sang, I hope the trend continues. Roo-Da needs to find the solution to the time-loop. She hasn’t even given it a thought in any of the previous episodes. Also, is any of you keeping the total number of his deaths?
Feel Good To Die Episode 7 and 8 Recap
Struck by Lightning
Roo-Da wishes Jin-Sang dies, struck by lightning to be precise. Her wish comes true as lighting goes through his room’s window like a bullet. She wakes up to the same morning and complains about her breakfast to her “Unni” as she is going to a big battle today. Her sister beats her with a ladle, which was quite deserving in my opinion. In the office, the announcement about pay raise is made public (again). She listens to her co-workers get excited while she enjoys Soju through a coffee cup. Meanwhile, In-Han gives his order about the untrustworthy person vote to the team leaders.
Roo-Da tells Joon-Ho that CEO is playing a trick and to stop him she is going to “turn herself in”. She goes to Cheol-Soo’s office to confess but he is busy on a phone call. Jin-Sang is overhears them and is surprised that Joon-Ho is Roo-Da’s accomplice. Jin-Sang gets weird SMS on his phone and he thinks Roo-Da is the one sending them. He also gets a flashback of Roo-Da asking for his help (It was before he got struck by lightning). Joon-Ho goes to his uncle’s and leaves a recording bug there. He successfully records their confession. He shows the recording to Jin-Sang and both come up with a plan of their own. Joon-Ho also messages Roo-Da that he will take care of everything so she shouldn’t worry.
Plan in Progress
In the auditorium, the meeting is lead by Cheol-Soo and he is surprised to find that people on the untrustworthy list are the Team Leaders themselves. In the flashback, we see Joon-Ho’s uses his hacker friend to send a message to all the team leaders under Cheol-Soo’s name. In the message, it says that team members will also be able to vote anonymously. Joon-Ho also tells other employees about company’s trick and agrees with them to vote for their team leader. In the present, Jin-Sang goes against In-Han again just like last time. This time though she also shows that the company is growing rather than loosing. So, according to the contract employee’s pays should rise rather than cut. In-Han tells him that he is alone and nobody is with him.
Jin-Sang asks if anyone agrees with him he/she should make a sound. Suddenly everyone’s phone starts ringing and they start clapping in favor of Jin-Sang. Embarrassed In-Han leaves the stage but stopped by audit department workers. One of them give him a phone, on the other side of the line is Company’s Chairman. He tells In-Han he will be conducting an internal audit and looks like Jin-Sang is the one behind this.
Outside the auditorium Roo-Da thanks Joon-Ho for all he has done. He tells her that he did all this only for her. She is a bit taken back but looks like she liked hearing it. Later, Joon-Ho’s grandfather praises him for excellent work. On the other hand, the chairman is angry with his son In-Han and tells him he is useless. He also tells him he should work ethically or he will lose his position. Next day, the employees are more at peace in the company. But the marketing team is the same. Min-Joo is late again and loses another day from her annual leave. Yoo-Deok receives a lecture from Jin-Sang for his incompetent work. Delusional Jin-Sang thinks that he is making his team members happy.
Jin-Sang decides to punish Roo-Da even though he helped her earlier. Her punishment is to read an apology on company broadcast. Near the end of her apology, Jin-Sang starts to have flashbacks of his deaths. It happens when a wall clock falls on the floor. If you remember, it is the same clock which hit Jin-Sang on his head during one of his previous “Deaths”. He doesn’t feel good and starts to see more of his deaths in the flashback. He calls Roo-Da on the building rooftop. He tells her that he is hallucinating his deaths and that she is always near him when he dies. She hugs him in pleasure to his surprise. She tells him about the the time-loop but he doesn’t believe her. To give him first-hand experience she wishes for his death.
Elsewhere, In-Han hires Yoo Si-Baek an expert at firing people. He tells her that he will hire her as a CEO. All she has to do is get rid of some people for him.
Looks like Jin-Sang is going to get in terms with his multiple deaths. It is also very like that this new information will bring some more craziness to this drama. It’s not that its lack in it already but more craziness is welcome as well. Will we see a lot of suicides from him than the random accidental death? This drama is a total mind fuck and really enjoyable at the same time. Lack of Cheol-Soo’s and Min-Joo’s screen time was a bit disappointing. I’m also excited about the new CEO Si-Baek.
On the romantic front, we seeing some fires lightning up. Joon-Ho is showing his feelings to Roo-Da. She also seems to have the same feelings. But that hug with Jin-Sang at the end could take things in other direction. Personally, I think Roo-Da will end up with Joon-Ho. Si-Baek could be Jin-Sang’s love interest. But I am often wrong about these things, even in real life.
I found another flaw in the continuity of the story. The auditorium they held the meeting this time is totally different from the original day’s (previous episode) auditorium. If you guys found any other let me know in the comments.
On a side note, what’s with the secret meetings on buildings tops? If you think about it is the most open and unsecret place to hold a meeting. Jin-Sang looks the type who has fear of heights.
P.S. Jin-Sang is a fan of BlackPink
