Meanwhile, Lee Soo’s first love is Gae-Ddong (Gong Seung-Yeon). He loved her before he took the throne. King Lee Soo wants to marry Gae-Ddong, but, because of her humble background, it is virtually impossible. To marry Gae-Ddong, Lee Soo hires the Flower Crew Matchmaking Agency. The agency consists of 3 handsome men: Ma Hoon (Kim Min-Jae), Do Joon (Byeon Woo-Seok) and Ko Young-Soo (Park Ji-Hoon) and they are the best matchmaking agency in Joseon. Flower Crew Episode 1-2 Recap
The King is on his death bed waiting for the crown prince (Go Soo)who has returned after 10 years. On his way to the palace, crown prince is ambushed by mysterious assassins. He is struck by an arrow and dies meanwhile, King also passes away in the palace. Later, a team of match makers team led by Ma-Hoon (Kim Min-Jae) use tips and tricks to match their clients with their marriage partners. The team is really famous not only because of their skills of matchmaking but also for their flower boy looks.
Elsewhere, Gae-Ddong (Gong Seung-Yeon) is “selling” her body to young medical practitioners. She is then hired by a lady to act as her in front of Ma-Hoon so that the lady can get married. Ma-Hoon realizes their ruse and identifies that Gae-Ddong is a fake and the marriage is called off. Later, he gets head butted by Gae-Ddong when she asks him to apologize to the lady, and he laughs it off. Meanwhile, Ma Bong-Deok (Park Ho San) is looking for someone before another Joseon prince from Qing arrives to Joseon.
Lee-Soo persistently requests Ma-Hoon to become his matchmaker and get him married to Gae-Ddong. Ma-Hoon doesn’t take his request and keeps sending him away. Elsewhere, Gae-Ddong interferes in the agency’s work in order to help earlier mentioned lady. She then regrets her actions when she learns that rather than helping she has caused more problems for the lady. Later, Lee-Soo again goes to the agency with his request, Ma-Hoon finally accepts his request. Ma-Hoon still doesn’t know that, Gae-Ddong, Lee-Soo wants to marry is that Gae-Ddong.
Ma-Hoon meets with Gae-Ddong with the marriage proposal which surprises her. Later, she meets with Lee-Soo and accepts his proposal. Marriage arrangements starts taking place, Lee-Soo needs to pay the agency after the marriage. At the day of marriage Gae-Ddong apologizes to Ma-Soon for her involvement in his work. Meanwhile, Lee-Soo gets kidnapped from his home before the marriage. His father fights the kidnappers, but he is still taken away. Elsewhere, the agency members are tensed because of Lee-Soo’s absence.
Ma-Soon learns that Lee-Soo is gone and wants to cancel the wedding. His colleagues are worried about the money they have spent on the preparation of the wedding. Lee-Soo is taken to Bong-Deok (Ma-Soon’s father) who reveals to him that he is the new King of Joseon. Lee-Soo’s father appears front of the Queen and court turns out he is a royal guard who worked for late King. He provides documents which reveals that Lee-Soo is late king’s son. Furthermore, the late King gave secret order to the royal guard to take care of his son.
Elsewhere, Ma-Soon and Gae-Ddong while looking for Lee-Soo learns that he was headed to the palace. Lee-Soo’s coronation ceremony takes place, and he becomes the new king of Joseon. He finds his new life in palace really uncomfortable. Lee-Soo misses Gae-Ddong while she is going through same emotions. The Queen is trying to mate new king with someone, but he wants to protect himself for special someone. The investigation in crown prince’s death finds new clues. Bong-Deok’s men arrive at Gae-Ddong’s place to kill her. Ma-Soon was also there at that time, and he hides her.
