A shaman is performing an exorcism ceremony, he asks for money to remove the evil spirit from the “victim”. A priest (Hae-Il) comes and starts “torturing” the victim, the victim not able to handle the pain shouts that the evil spirit has left. The sham is over with it, the shaman and his goonies get their ass kicked by Hae-Il. The shaman reveals the name of the mastermind behind all this circus. Elsewhere, the prosecutor Kyung-Sun is interviewed by the reporters regarding a drug case involving a chaebol and an Idol. The investigation officer wants her to an issue a warrant to arrest the chaebol while she wants him to make the Idol as the main culprit.
He is a Priest Let Him Go
When things don’t go smoothly with them she shows him a video recording in which the officer is taking a bribe. She tells him to do as she says unless he wants his career to be over. Meanwhile, Hae-Il is taken to the police state on assault charges where a couple of other priests and a Buddhist monk demands his immediate release. Hae-Il is unable to control his anger and continues to make a ruckus in the police station. His helpers put pressure on the police officer to release him. The officer agrees to release him under one condition that he moves from the area. Hae-Il has to move to a different church in a different town working under his mentor, a senior priest named Young-Joon.
The Nude Detective
Elsewhere, Dae-Young’s team is getting ready to raid an illegal gambling establishment. His superior forgets to inform him about the new location where the raid will be taking place. His team successfully completes the raid with the help of the thankful criminals. While he goes into the wrong establishment and gets the shit kicked out of him, his clothes taken away and in the end, he is thrown in the busy market place naked. Meanwhile, at the new location, Hae-Il sees Kyung-Sun’s interview (and her out of the world face) on the TV. He also sees the locals getting harassed by a couple of thugs and police doing nothing. Same thugs later harass the senior priest of Hae-Il’s new church. Hae-Il finally arrives at his new church, other members of the church get scared of him after his angry outbursts. The head priest tells him to lead the church sermon the next day.
The Priest With Anger Issues
Next day, he starts the sermon (showing no interest at all), soon he gets angry at a churchgoer and throws him out for eating bread during the service. He further tells other attendees that this place will only forgive their sins after they have been forgiven by people whom they have sinned. Kyung-Sun makes a confession and asks for forgiveness, Hae-Il tells her to asks forgiveness first from the people she has sinned. She gets angry at him (although she finds him attractive) because of his attitude, he continues to act in his own style and further disses her. A local goon (Cheol-Bum) gives money to the head priest in return wanting to run the facility management of the church. The head priest returns him the money and denies his “request”. Later, at a construction site owned by Cheol-Bum (attended by high officials) a protest takes place against him.
Cheol-Bum’s gangster thugs start beating the people while the police (including Dae-Young) just stand there doing nothing. Hae-Il who is walking by controls his anger even when protesters asks for his help. One of the protesters then directly attacks Cheol-Bum when Cheol-Bum is about to attack the protester Hae-Il stops him.
I really enjoyed it, it was really funny and interesting, can’t wait for the next episode. The preview of the next episode looks really interesting as well. The three leads (especially Ha-Nee) are really funny, hope the drama keeps the pace and atmosphere of the story same until the end.
On a side note, guys three of my posts just vanished today. If anyone knows how I could get them back I would be really grateful thanks.
