At work, Joon-Kyu tells Jung-Rok that the law firm will be taking on a big case. While Yoon-Seo turns her office in pink, Jung-Rok doesn’t like the change but lets her keep it. To his further surprise, she has turned his office in pink as well, he returns all (mostly) the pink stuff back to Yoon-Seo. Yoon-Seo is totally head over hells Jung-Rok, she finds him especially charming when he is in a trial. But to her misfortune at the court, they run into Yeo-Reum, Jung-Rok and Yeo-Reum go for lunch laving Yoon-Seo alone burning in jealousy. When Jung-Rok returns to the office Yoon-Seo starts acting petty because of her jealousy. Jung-Rok is feeling awkward because of the sudden change in Yoon-Seo’s mood.
Hearts Are Broken Left And Right
Meanwhile, Kyung-Hye has fallen again in love this time with the delivery guy (2 PM’s Chan-Sung) and gets rejected again. Yoon-Seo is still upset with Jung-Rok who doesn’t know the reason. To appease her mood Jung-Rok even goes to the team dinner which he usually ignores. Jung-Rok straightforwardly asks the reason Yoon-Seo is angry at him in front of everyone making things awkward for her. All his colleagues are also eager to know the reason, she lies and makes an excuse. Jung-Rok thinks everything is solved now that they have clear the “misunderstanding”. She then gets drunk and “scolds” Jung-Rok for not eating pasta with her at the court. Back home, Jung-Rok gets the hint that she is jealous after he has a conversation with Se-Won. Next day, Yoon-Seo is not in a happy mood like the day before. She apologizes to Jung-Rok for her drunken behavior, she also tells him that she was jealous as a “friend”.
The Big Spectacle
Joon-Kyu gives a big case to Jung-Rok, it is the same case Jung-Rok and Yeo-Reum talked about during their lunch. Jung-Rok is not happy to receive the case for different reasons. He is further told that a TV crew will be around the office because of the high profile case which may make things awkward for Yoon-Seo. Jung-Rok then makes an excuse to Yoon-Seo to go with him to the detention center in order to keep her away from the office. Next day, she again overly prepares things and imagining she is going on a date. Elsewhere, Yeo-Reum’s senior who wanted the murder case is trying to make things harder for her. He is annoying her with her past relationship with Se-Won. Meanwhile, Yoon-Seo is having severe mood swings on her “date” with Jung-Rok.
Just Friends or More?
At the detention center, Jung-Rok meets his client and listens to her side of the story. Even after that, he is not sure how to go forward with this case. On the way back, Yoon-Seo falls asleep in the car Jung-Rok jokes about her snoring which leads to things becoming awkward again. Next day, Jung-Rok receives information about her client’s past. He is not sure if his client planned the murder or it was really self-defense. The trial begins with both sides trying their best to get the result they want. Yeo-Reum suggests to the court that she planned the murder and it was done for the insurance money. While Jung-Rok wants to put an insanity plea, Yoo-Reum doesn’t like the idea at all. She is trying extra hard because if she loses, she can also lose her position in the prosecutor’s office. After a hard day of work, Yoon-Seo encourages Jung-Rok and tells him that she believes in him. In return. He asks her does she likes him.
