In the previous episodeYoon-Seo starts to drop signs that she likes Jung-Rok. She also shows her childish jealous side whenever it comes to Yeo-Reum. Jung-Rok has taken over a new case which brings distance between him and Yeo-Reum. Yeo-Reum is the opponent prosecutor in the new case. Jung-Rok starts to get that maybe Yoon-Seo likes him. He then directly asks her if she really likes him.

Jung-Rok asks Yoon-Seo if she likes him, she is flustered but says yes. But then it turns out all a misunderstanding as he was asking about the dinner menu and not himself. Jung-Rok doesn’t even get that she was talking about him which irritates her more. What’s funnier is that he even brags about being quick-witted. Both of them then diss each other about the lack of experience in dating. Next day, Joon-Kyu (who is stressed because of his humiliation on tv) burdens Jung-Rok that if he loses people won’t hire them anymore. After late night work both Jung-Rok and Yoon-Seo get stuck in the elevator, they also get uncomfortably close to each other (physically). Hyuk-Joon (Yoon-Seo’s manager) scolds Jung-Rok for making Yoon-Seo work overtime. Yoon-Seo gets annoyed because of Hyuk-Joon while Jung-Rok gets slightly jealous of him.

The Intruder

Jung-Rok misunderstands Hyuk-Joon to be Yoon-Seo’s boyfriend. She tells him that he is just her “cousin” which makes Jung-Rok slightly happy. Meanwrumorrumour is spread in the office that last night a couple were kissing in the broken elevator. Thankfully for Yoon-Seo, the couple’s identity is unknown. Later the elevator thing happens between Moon-Hee and Yoon-Hyuk although ending in different circumstances. Elsewhere, Se-Won is trying to get close to Yeo-Reum but she is keeping her walls high. Jung-Rok and Yoon-Seo go to their client’s home (the crime scene) to investigate further information for their case. Their Jung-Rok is attacked by someone (he is caught), Yoon-Seo starts crying profusely after seeing Jung-Rok hurt. The assailant turns out to be a mentally disabled person who knows something about the case.

The Suspicion

Yeo-Reum arrives at the station as well after seeing the assailant she knows that he is related to the murder case. Jung-Rok gets out of the station and takes him to the hospital. Doo-Seob (Jung-Rok’s investigator) finds out that the guy from last night and their client were together at the client’s home on the day of the incident. Yoon-Seo also investigates the guy but is unable to get any specific information because of his mental disability. Meanwhile, Yoon-Seo is too worried about Jung-Rok’s health and is taking care of him like a baby. Jung-Rok meets his client and when he asks her about the guy she gets unsettled. When he pushes her he gets the feeling that she is hiding something. Yoon-Seo tries her best to persuade the guy to come to the trial.

The Real Killer

At the trial, Jung-Rok is doing his best to refute the evidence against his client. Yoon-Seo is finally able to bring the guy to the trial court. Jung-Rok request him to be added to the witness list and then starts questioning him. Jung-Rok provides evidence and claims that he is the real killer and not his client. He further blames the prosecutor’s office for not investigating the guy and tried to hide the truth. Yeo-Reum starts to feel uneasy then the guy confesses that he stabbed the husband who was beating his wife. Jung-Rok’s client is set free, Joon-Kyu (the CEO) is really happy with the outcome. Although Jung-Rok won the case he is not happy for the different reason, Yeo-Reum being one of them. Rather then going to the team dinner Jung-Rok and Yoon-Seo go the dinner together. Things change between them after dinner.
